A new camera system for Thetford Golf Course

We recently supplied and installed 16 cameras at Thetford Golf Course. These monitor the perimeter of the clubhouse and Pro shop, cover the buggy store area, plus all entrances. Further coverage of the delivery areas and the car park was also installed.

A dedicated ANPR camera was installed to monitor and record vehicles entering and leaving the club. This records the registration, time and date of each capture, allowing for easy searching. 

Cameras were also installed within the clubhouse, viewing the entrance area, trophy cabinet and the bar area. Wireless transmitters were installed to send signals between the main clubhouse and the groundskeepers’ sheds, where cameras were installed to monitor the area, with a second transmitter used between the sheds. All cameras were ColourVu, enabling colour images to be captured even in low light conditions. 

Cameras pointing towards the first tee box and 18th green have been routed through to the members’ lounge to be displayed on the TVs. These images can also be used as a webcam feed at a later date.

All images are recorded in high definition and stored for 30 days. The staff and manager can view the images on the main monitor in the office, via their PCs or on smart devices remotely.
