Meet The Team: Stuart
Stuart is our Managing Director here at ATL Alarms, and you’ll typically find him overseeing the running of the business, introducing and updating new policies and procedures, and submitting bids and tenders. Here we learn a little more about his role, his interests outside work and his best advice for those wanting to enter the industry!
What is your background/experience to date?
I started working as an electrician and then progressed into a role at the Bank of England as a systems consultant. This gave me experience with high-end security systems, and after working at the Bank of England, I left to join Tyco as a systems consultant specialising in ANPR. The experience with ANPR then led me to form Atom Technologies which specialised in number plate recognition systems in the UK and USA. This then developed into ATL Alarms as we know it today!
What excites you about your role?
I love seeing the company progress and grow.
What specialist equipment/software do you use?
I mostly use Xero and our CRM system.
Away from work, what are your interests/pastimes?
If you follow us on social media, it’ll come as no surprise that in my spare time, I enjoy playing golf!
