We're returning to work

During lockdown, here at ATL we’ve been continuing to offer an emergency callout service, but following recent government announcements we are now returning to work in a safe manner. You can rest assured that we will observe the following procedures:

  • If a team member due to visit your site shows any symptoms of Covid-19 they will not attend, and a different team member will carry out the work.
  • All our team members will check their temperature before leaving for work each morning.
  • Every engineer has hand sanitiser in their van, and they will apply that before starting work and on completion
  • Every engineer will be wearing a fresh pair of gloves and a protective mask prior to entering your site.
  • We will request that everyone on site strictly observes social distancing guidelines.
  • Where possible we will use a separate entrance and encourage you to vacate the area in which we are working.
  • We will encourage you to open windows to increase ventilation.
  • We will happily postpone the appointment at short notice and re-arrange should you or your staff develop symptoms of Covid-19.

As Stuart Drummond, owner of ATL Alarms, confirms, the priority when returning to work has to be the safety of everyone concerned. ‘We’ve found that clients have really embraced the need to work with us to prevent the spread of coronavirus,’ comments Stuart. ’So far, we’ve been able to carry out emergency repairs and servicing without any problems, which has been really encouraging. Now that restrictions are being eased to some degree, we are determined to return to work in a safe and responsible way, and we believe that the policies we have in place will allow us to do that. Whether it’s installing access control systems, servicing intruder alarms or designing CCTV solutions, we know that we can work with our clients to achieve this, while at the same time still keeping the risk of infection to a minimum.’

ATL Alarms offer enhanced access control with thermal monitoring, intruder alarms and CCTV systems in Cambridge and throughout East Anglia, so why not call us on 01353 722882 or complete our enquiry form to request a quotation?

HES are currently using ATL Alarms on a number of school projects and as part of the maintenance package we deliver to our clients. ATL are in a position to deliver on both security and fire safety projects for us – they are very knowledgeable in both areas and are always willing to assist with what our clients expect.

The work ATL has completed for us has always been of the highest standard and fitted in within our stringent client budgets. ATL are a small to mid-sized contractor who pride themselves on the highest level of service delivery. Both I and my colleagues within HES are looking forward to working with ATL on many further projects together.
